I particularly liked the copper chasing a suspect and shouting "You're done mate, you're done, I can do this all day"

I loved the subtle dig of "has your nose always been like that?" in the first one

Anyone following Mark McCann's attempts to buy a Veyron? He seems to nearly be there, but his first video looking at the man maths around it and how to save money on the legendary running costs was also quite interesting. It was one of those cars which I was pretty nonplused about when announced but I have to say it's grown massively on me.

Cheers,

Mike.

I really enjoyed that video. I think I've mentioned before that I encountered Mark McCann's cars well before he appeared on Youtube - 15-odd years ago I saw a matte black new Aventador parked outside Wetherspoons in Bromsgrove which I discovered years later was his, and I used to regularly pass a nice farmhouse which had interesting cars on the drive which again I discovered was his. Never actually met him though I'm off to that Wetherspoons on Saturday for a bit of haggis.

He's not the most immediately likeable youtuber but he came across just like anyone else wanting to buy a car in this video - just with a slightly higher budget. I've finally subscribed.

Yeah, I was kind of the same about him, not sure what it was which initially put me off, but he just comes across as a real car nut who has clearly done well for himself and wants to share the experience.

This is the one where he's looking in to the running costs and the options out there now around using traditional tyres etc.

Cheers,

Mike.

Born March 1974 according to Companies House, so there are some very variable ages around if he could be 7 years younger than Dan or 61/62

That makes more sense, the story I read said he was born in 87.

Don’t worry Dan - I’m sure the rest of us will also get a bit doddery when we reach your age. :P

I reckon companies house have his birth date wrong by a decade.

He looks ok for 51, his body is fucked from motorsport and he has crazy teeth, but no big issues.

i thought he was a bit of a knob at first, but i’ve warmed to him.

Enjoyed this for the random questions. Intially clicked because I knew what the answer to the headline would be ("All Alfa's except the Quadrifoglio" is one) but didn't expect an E30 to get dragged in, so @integrale_evo might want to weigh in there
