For me it’s probably my favourite version of my favourite 90s race car (although it’s extremely close with the 1994 Alfa 155 btcc cars )
It’s a 4 door, has the m3 bumpers and mirrors, the homologated aero they were allowed to use in the second half of the season. It’s the version that won BMWs first race that year, at the British gp support race, it wears the number 1 from winning the championship the previous year, and it’s still using a 2litre version of the e30 M3 S14 engine.
But I’m going to save £35k and plump for a GrpA RS500

I have a dirty, dirty plan for after a lottery win. I shall have a 6R4 and engine swap it for a Jaguar V12.

It’s a couple of days late so thought you could all splash a bit more than usual, and you don’t even have to wrap it for me,

Im a big fan of the mk3 mr2, I looked at a 180bhp conversion once that turned out to be a ropey project, but they are still on my list. Sadly even the garage queens seem to suffer from rust.
Re: Today’s want
Danny DC2 is worth a watch if you like the mr2, he used to race in the mr2 series and now has a road going mk3 that he keeps at the 'ring

Re: Today’s want
If I won the lottery that'd be straight in the garage, simply because of the supercharger stack height
Also quite curious what it runs a quarter mile in, they don't list any performance figures on the listing, and I bet it's not as fast as it looks
Re: Today’s want
It’s definitely more of a show car build than a race build but if it doesn’t run low 9s or less it’s broken.
An absolute unit
Re: Today’s want
That goes in my “cool item but not for me” bucket. I don’t imagine cornering is one of it’s strongest cards….Gavster wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 1:40 pm If I won the lottery that'd be straight in the garage, simply because of the supercharger stack height![]()

It'll go round corners like it is on rails. As long as it is on something that is on rails.
