Post by Matty »

I assumed we didn't bother last year as it was a foregone conclusion, but nothing again this year?

Hard to keep track of who has bought what this year.

Jobbo's MX-5, was that this year?
MikeHunt just went for a cheeky handschalter
Integrale_Evo's Lupo?

And the winner is ME with the Alpine A110.

Thanks to everyone who voted. Hard lines to the runners up.

It seems a no brainer, but does it qualify a 2025 purchase?

Wasn't it a 2013 purchase?

And IIRC it has to be a purchased car, not a built one. I didn't make the rules.

It is quite clear the the mighty Clio 182 Full Fat should win this prestigious award.

I will allow it an honorary second place, after what is clearly the best purchase of the year.

Bought my MX5 in June 2024 - how time flies.

I did buy the Cayenne and R5 this year.

That reminds me, Holley got his A290 this year - surely a contender?

I mean, it's been purchased this year....so should be for this year? The rules are fairly fluid....we had Duncs' down for 2023 and he didn't even purchase a car in 2023

It’s a pretty unique situation but i’m happy for the HPE R500 to be crowned EFCOTY 2025 if everyone else is!

Seems a bit premature Rich - still 21 mins left of 2025.

Appparently I got the title wrong, it should be FECPOTY. But in light of recent news, seems it should be FECOTY.

I'd ask the Pollmaster to create a poll, but not sure it's needed :!:
