Yep he looked terrified but fuck me he's got some balls getting into the ring with AJ.

AJ rightly gave him some respect early on and that, coupled with the fact Paul wouldn't stop running meant it took a little longer than people hoped. He was an awkward fighter for AJ but when he finished it it was very much a case of 'fuck around and find out'.

I still think it was scripted to a certain extent, looked like AJ pulled a lot of his punches in the first 3-4 rounds. “Let him slide for a few rounds then you can let your hands go in the fifth”.

Absolute result for Jake Paul. Gets kudos for lasting four rounds more than anyone expected, didn’t incur too much damage, collected £70m.

There’s a pretty horrific clip at the end of the fight, Jake opens his mouth and you can see his broken jaw and misaligned teeth. Also looked to me like AJ took it easy at first, then had enough with the silly games. It’s also financially prudent to draw out the fight for a few rounds as it gives future boxing wannabes false hope and who doesn’t want to take candy from a baby?

Joshua was sparring, like maybe he wanted to see if Paul actually had the juice.

You can tell from the smile that Paul was going down as soon as he went into the corner.

Yeah I mean the look on AJs face in Gavs picture - that's not someone who is remotely concerned about what their opponent might do - because he knows they've got nothing. And the look on Jakes face says it all - he's realised he's spent the last few rounds being toyed with, like he's a chew toy. And playtime is over.

I'm sure AJ has had worse days in the office. A few million quid for making Jake Paul look like a joke without even really trying was probably a bit of fun.

Edit: I don't think JP had 'balls' to get in the ring with AJ. There's a solid possibility that he's arrogant and stupid enough to think he'd have stood a chance for real.

I’d be laughing my tits off if I was taking that money for an easy night of light sparring And chinning someone who really deserves it.

I wonder how much of the purse they actually bank. I remember Amir Khan saying years ago for a £3-4m purse he’d usually end up with about £800k after paying promoters, coaches, training camp etc and taxes.
