Tyson had nothing in legs for the entire fight, he looked like an old man shuffling around, there was no bounce, no energy, just a slow old man, what a shame. He landed a couple of lefts but that was it. Paul on the other hand looked good, he's improved, he looked better than against Tommy Fury for sure and could have gone harder on Tyson at the end.

It shows that Paul is progressing as a fighter, but he really needs to start doing serious fights, with serious boxing contenders.

Glad I didn't make an effort to get up to watch this. After seeing the netflix uploaded stream this morning it really was a bit of a sad show. But it was always about dollars and entertainment rather than boxing.

Jake Paul has been shown to be a rubbish boxer when fury who also terrible outboxed him.

i watched it when i got up. Tyson came out ok, but you can’t make up for the fact he’s 58 years old. He just couldn’t move fast enough - Paul was getting double the punches in from then onwards (though he might as well have been hitting a brick wall for most of it.)

That's true, when Paul was landing punches, Tyson was unflinching.

Yeah, I was up early enough to catch the end of the women’s fight which was great. Based on the rounds I saw Serrano was robbed.

Watched all 20 thrown punches in the first two rounds and turned it off.

Noticed that a 3 part fly-on-the-wall documentary about Tyson and Paul's prep for the fight dropped on Netflix yesterday. Clever move, they got their money's worth out of the deal. Hope Netflix get more fights, because I like that kind of documentary and also resent paying £30+ for pay per view, when I can piggyback @Sundayjumper's Netflix account for free

Also worth noting (I think someone mentioned it previously here) that the Taylor-Serrano fight that was supporting the Tyson-Paul headline is apparently one of the best boxing matches you'll ever see and worth a look.

Should probably start a new Fred, but….. if Joshua doesn’t shut this clown down within 3 rounds then something is very wrong…..

I’m not 100% convinced it won’t be scripted in some way.

If it goes past the second round then something’s amiss.

I think this clip is the final nail in the “Tyson was paid to pull his punches” coffin

Watched the fight and it was a bit of a joke. Jake Paul was constantly clinching from round one and kept on diving at Joshua's legs, I lost count of how many times Paul fell to the floor, it was like he was wrestling. It wasn't AJ's best performance either, but he was fighting a clown, so I'd cut him some slack, plus he wasn't even out of breath when it finished and looked completely composed in round 6, while Jake Paul was in pieces after round 4.

Even when Jake Paul landed a solid right hook to AJ's head, he didn't even flinch  while the final right hook which AJ landed on Paul was extremely satisfying to watch

Pretty much sums it up. Watched it when I got up this morning. I think it was kinda a good result for everyone in truth, possibly AJ the least but I'm sure he won't cry into all those millions!

I think for all the bravado JP looked scared from the first bell, as rightly he should have been. But he survived and he took some shots that would have put down most people, so I think we can say he came out of it with more respect than he went in. He's not a boxer though, tough enough chap, but the idea of a world title in his weight class is not realistic.

It’s true, in between the bravado and face-pulling, Jake Paul definitely looked scared and rightly so.

The other great moment was sometime in round 5 (IIRC). Jake Paul began to suffer when AJ landed a few decent shots, and it was the moment AJ realised it was game over for Paul and the biggest grin spread across AJ’s face. It was the turning point when he knew it was time to finish things.
