No F1 thread?

Yay, Helmut Marko’s finally fucking off!
Re: No F1 thread?
I am sure he was more than the pantomime villian he was often portrayed as by the broadcasters. But he seemed to have far more influence than he should have done, so i am not sad to see the back of him.
Pleased for Lando, it was his to lose although at the start when Leclerc was chasing him down for a few laps, it must have given them pause for thought, but they would have had Oscar drop back and behind to ensure it was at least a Mclaren victory.
Roll on next year and Sainz in the Williams or Alonso in the AM to win a la Brawn '09.

I’m not sure Oscar would have followed orders to do that!
Yeah, we’ll never really know how much managing Lando was doing in third, didn’t look at all comfortable until he finally broke drs though!
I think in an ideal world they would have had Oscar win with Lando second and Max third, it would have ( I think ) given mclaren the constructors and 1 & 2 in the drivers championship. Their double disqualification for plank wear mess things up a bit and last weekend Max was just too quick.

Re: No F1 thread?
I had a small bet on Max winning the championship so was a bit gutted he got so close. He’s the best driver imho (him, Lewis and Schumacher are my 3 best “modern” drivers) and if they were all in the same car I imagine he’d be the winner.
Cheers,
Ian

Sweet, better than a street circuit. Surprised Portugal can afford it though.
How about not having a sig at all?
