Will post the full list later, but interesting to see that the MPS4S comes only 5th (out of 9). Things move on…..

Bought a copy of the mag for the first time in ages. Very pleased to see their tyre test is in this issue.

I'm going to take a wild guess that a Conti wins again, at the Conti Drome?

Nope. The test this year is at Bridgestone’s facility in Italy…Swervin_Mervin wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 10:27 am I'm going to take a wild guess that a Conti wins again, at the Conti Drome?

Re: Evo tyre test 2025
I don’t rate Bridgestone much better than Pirelli. Mid range at best pretending to be up there.
How about not having a sig at all?

235/35/19 on a BMW 135i X-Drive “a predominantly RWD car that goes 4WD when required”
Midfield is very tightly grouped - a slight tweak to the weightings for even a single test could shuffle that order.
Good to see how bad ditchfinders still are.
This years test - at the Bridgestone test facility in Aprilla Italy - was weighted towards wet performance (again?). The Potenza took 1st place in all but one of the wet or aquaplaning tests (although it finished on the podium for every one of the dry tests too).
1. Bridgestone Potenza Sport (100%)
2. Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports (98.3%)
3. Continental Sportcontact 7 (97.9%)
4. Yokohama Advance Sport V107 (95.8%)
5. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (95.5%)
6. Pirelli P Zero PZ5 (95.3%)
7. Maxis Victra Sport 6 (94.3%)
8. Falken Azenis RS820 (90.4%)
9. Kormoran Ultra High Performance (80.1%)

I wonder why the Pilot Sport 5 wasn't used as it's been out a few months.

Pilot Sport 5S replaces the 4S
Re: Evo tyre test 2025
So 4S is a better tyre than the 5, understood.

Re: Evo tyre test 2025
Chaps. I have noticed something.
Whilst sitting at the soupcharger I noticed the brand new Model Y beside me was shod with Michelin PS4S tyres. But they looked fancy. Looking online I have found a PS4S with the fancy tyre wall I’m referring to
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/365755548292 ... cXiDb2vppf
So what gives? Is this an optional extra? Do your PS4S have said fancy tyre wall?
Regards, an envious PS4S owner

Think it’s just the updated design of Michelin tyres.. think tyre review mentioned it

It’s not that fancy, needs miks tipex skills to make it properly fancy
Re: Evo tyre test 2025
Inconclusive. The tyre pictured on the eBay ad is dated 1125. The ones my dad had fitted recently are 2625 and 4125 and they are not fancyIanF wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 4:05 pm Think it’s just the updated design of Michelin tyres.. think tyre review mentioned it

It's option code 765.868.556.289 for Michelin tyres sidewalls aka "velvet mole fur finish"Mito Man wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 6:07 pmInconclusive. The tyre pictured on the eBay ad is dated 1125.
