Those ex mod sales sites are always kinda odd. Seems like half the stuff they sell is barely used. I remember once they had 20 delivery mileage XJs for sale and a handful of F types but they were many years old. Then there’s the random stuff like brand new generators - surely it’s all still useful kit :?

I just realised probably haven’t sold any since I saw that years ago. Each reference number refers to one car, so they have multiples of each.

Im a big fan of the rx8 and Mazdas in general, would be tempted by Ione of these just for the revs and a late R3 as they are slightly less problematic that the others.

They're just too slow compared to the amount you spend on petrol. Not to mention the hassle factor with not being able to start/stop them down whenever you want.

I really liked the handling on mrs mik's RX8, and R3 is nicer, but agree with Rich wrt the fuel consumption vs pace. Drive-by-wire is doing funny things under your nose, so I got 23mpg when driving it hard, and 24mpg when driving like miss daisy.

I moved ours short distances (like shuffling cars on the drive) from cold-start many times, and ensured it didn't flood by holding 3krpm before turning it off (as per the destruction manuel). Never a problem. It wasn't my car however, and despite me telling mrs mik regularly that she had to ensure she also followed this practice, it turned out - after she flooded it - that I had never so much as mentioned this to her even once....

And getting them unflooded is an absolute PITA.

This got me thinking of the Brera, I remember sitting in a new one at the Dudley dealership. It still looks great and I’d have a Q4 over the pro drive or a similar engined GT, even though both are better drivers cars.

Also has the same £760 road tax

Slow, heavy, not great to drive, terrible MPG, terrible road tax and some of the jobs are expensive to do like belts. Can imagine (being Alfa) many parts are hard to get now too. But they look great even now.

The only Brera worthwhile buying is the 1750TBI - which is quite rare, but the best engine (other than the the 2.4 JTDm). Just stick some Prodrive alloys on it and away you go. Beautiful cars, but not worth

Not a car - but this is stunning. Wondering if the Fezza is included in the price of the house?
