Re: The Weather Thread.
Had to do an unplanned excursion at 0230 this morning and, even though it was a bit sleety, car handled it with ease.. it was 3oC so need a sub-zero drive really before necessitating the winter tyres purchase; purchase case looking less promising tbh as SE England doesn’t see to get enough EXTREME cold weather..

Cheers Beany - wish I'd bothered checking Amazon.Beany wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 6:26 pmIf you can stick it in with some other bits to get above the 'free delivery' limit (£35 these days) it's under four quid on Amazon.Jobbo wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 2:33 pmThat's an interesting tip though Gummi Pflege isn't expensive and lasts for years. Though I'm not sure where mine is so just ordered a new Liqui Moly one from eBay for under £6 delivered: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/127442872058mik wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 12:29 pm
Repeating myself, but (whilst they don't "feed" the rubber as well) I think the little clear silicon shoe shine pads are even better than gummi pflegge for preventing the glass adhering to the door seal. Bonus that they are £buttons.

Just as a one off buy though, eBay is cheaper given Amazon won't do anything other than Prime or £5 next day delivery for something so small...

Re: The Weather Thread.
A bit of cold and it seems like every twat has forgotten how to drive. My 45 min commute took 1h20mins yesterday due to three separate accidents. Today I followed a big suv who did 35mph on all of the nsl sections, with occasional drops to 25.
I dread to think how bad it would be if it had actually been slippery, or god forbid, proper snow!

Same here. Had some propper snow but thanks to the gritted roads they’re clear. Not that some people think thatintegrale_evo wrote: Wed Nov 19, 2025 6:12 pm A bit of cold and it seems like every twat has forgotten how to drive. Also a fun game today of who doesn’t check their mirrors by all the snow covered rear windows

That's capitalism baby!
Re: The Weather Thread.
Yeah, really makes me regret not ordering from Amazon - cost more and took longer

You should try and organise a return. That'll send 'em round in circles.

Today I have had e-mails from eBay saying my package is now with DPD. I had to go back to Amazon and check I didn't accidentally order another when Beany linked to it
Oh, and the tracking info says it was delivered last Friday but the postcode doesn't match...
