Bet Hamilton would cry in despair, if he saw how Ferrari had their shit tied down so well back then
No F1 thread?
Re: No F1 thread?
Bit of a long vid, but well worth watching. All about how special the Ferrari F2004 was.

Re: No F1 thread?
The cars looked awful trying to slow into and tiptoe around the chicane near the end of the lap, quite a contrast to the high speed last corner which ( on the few occasions they showed an outside shot) looked ridiculous given how slippery it was.

I quite enjoyed that quali!
Onboard footage showed how all of them were having to constantly correct the car. Some amazing driving up and down the grid.
Nice to see Sainz put it in P3. Maybe he wouldn’t have done any better at Ferrari this year

Norris and Piastri under investigation for skid block wear

Re: No F1 thread?
All the debate about will norris use number 1, will max use 3 or 33 should just be will max keep number 1
Re: No F1 thread?
McLaren are like clowns right now. How lucky was Norris that he had a large gap behind him at the end so he could coast for the last lap. Irrelevant now if he gets DSQ. Better that he outbraked himself at the start as it was less embarrassing than the alternative.
And I wonder if they’ll finally impose team orders if that does happen but Piastri has become so useless that it won’t make a difference…

Come on, FFS. Are they trying to gift Max the title?

I've never been a Max fan but I wouldn't be disappointed if he won the championship
Some of the decisions from McLaren this season could result in them shooting themselves in the foot in order to look "fair"

Another boring race, first half lap aside.
It was strange when lando asked if he should overtake GR or sit in his drs, both cars were obviously sparking more than normal. Keep things interesting.

Re: No F1 thread?
Not the fia trying to keep the championship going into the last round…
I sometimes wonder if the pundits actually watch the race. Hamilton pitted for mediums at lap 30 of a 50 lap race, ted questioned whether they would last to the end. Seems rather odd to me as plenty of cars had done 20+ laps on the medium from the start of the race when cars are heavier and the track very green. Traditionally tyres last much better later in the race.

Can’t blame the FIA for once, skid wear is a pretty slam dunk set in stone thing.

Re: No F1 thread?
Also I wonder if Norris didn’t have a low fuel issue at the end and the team knew the wear was too high? You could just have a wire embedded at the legality point of the skid just like a brake pad sensor but not sure if they’re even allowed to monitor it like that.
