The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

I’m very sad tonight. Loved his Stone Roses and Primal Scream stuff. Far too young.

Wow, that’s a bad one.. I’m a big Roses fan. He always seemed the cheeriest out of the band.

His wife died a couple of years ago, they had 12 year old twins.

Yeah this hit hard today. He always came across as such a top and genuine bloke. And part of the greatest band ever to come out of Manchester.

Such a tragedy after the loss of his wife 2yrs ago, and awful for the 2 boys.

He was on the Rockenteurs podcast recently and sounded full of life. A tragedy for the family.

I was too young for the Roses first time around, but really got into them after discovering indie clubs in the late 90s.

Hit pretty hard despite not really knowing much about any of the band member. Their sound was just so distinctive.

Seems way too young, have heard so many stories about what a wonderful man he was. Often hard to separate the normal everyday people from the celebrity effect of a huge band.
Cheers, Harry
