Re: Randomness
only watched a little bit of that so far, Pilg is about the most coordinated person ever, but i don’t get how his cornering is so shit yet he is still able to overtake everyone in the straights? his cart seems genuinely faster in a straight line than the rest?!
Re: Randomness
That was CAF
, but for the first part I was thinking I'd want more than just a helmet for protection
. (I think the camera makes it look faster than it actually is)
Spoiler
especially the cattle on track

Re: Randomness
nah, he’s pretty lean and so are the rest of them by the looks of it. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if it was him just feeling out a faster line with less/more steering input/body shape or something equally daft - his bike/skate/other skills are fairly ridiculous. Theres a great video of him doing backflips on the pro line at bike park wales with a tiny steering wheel on his bike instead of handlebars - the guy is an absolute legend!Mito Man wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 10:22 amHeavier.Rich B wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 9:46 am only watched a little bit of that so far, Pilg is about the most coordinated person ever, but i don’t get how his cornering is so shit yet he is still able to overtake everyone in the straights? his cart seems genuinely faster in a straight line than the rest?!
Re: Randomness
Are plod not allowed to hit these vehicles ? There was a few opportunities where the chase car could have hit or pinned them to stop them ?
Re: Randomness
The commentary includes them asking if they could use tactical force - they also gave a running commentary of the risk level. Unless they get authorisation presumably they can't. If you do a pit manouevre then it's probably a one-shot attempt since your car is going to be damaged, and in a built-up area you have very little control over what might be hit. Sensible to hang back until the helicopter arrives and stinger him for a safe stop. Crap job doing the stinger though.dinny_g wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 11:29 am Are plod not allowed to hit these vehicles ? Re: Randomness
Pretty high risk strategy though, with all the “vital running bits” of a car at the front, you’d probably end up disabling your own car before stopping the other car.dinny_g wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 11:29 am Are plod not allowed to hit these vehicles ? They clearly need mid/rear engined cop cars.

Ah right - watched it work with the sound down…Jobbo wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 11:33 amThe commentary includes them asking if they could use tactical force - they also gave a running commentary of the risk level.dinny_g wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 11:29 am Are plod not allowed to hit these vehicles ? Re: Randomness
That’s why American cop cars forgo the safety of nice cushioned bumpers and have a big lump of scaffolding instead. They now have some funky fold down net things that catch the rear wheels

Re: Randomness
King has a 7-series!.. I’ve seen him in an old Rolls before, but this feels incongruous and I reckon he should have a Flying Spur (think there’s a hybrid version)
Cheers,

better to buy a pre designed solution rather than try and engineer a solution from a car that might not work as well!
