Too late to put a bet on Max for the championship...?

The WDC seems to be converging nicely. Could we and up with some end of season drama?

McLaren seem to have stolen Ferrari's big book of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The Red Bull Floor that was introduced in Monza seems to really have transformed the car.

You have the feeling that if Max has a sniff of the title going into the last race, he'll probably get the job done. At this point notwithstanding his speed, I think mentally other drivers just wilt under the pressure from him.

I felt Piastri’s move at T1 in the sprint race was perfectly good*

*had the only cars on track been him, The Stapp and Lando.

I thought more would be made of the fact he then gave it full oppo to hit Lando. Got away with it though.

Certainly looked like he just picked where he wanted to go and chopped across completely forgetting the 17 odd other cars behind him steaming into the same corner.

Wouldn’t surprise me if something similar happens again today.

Ferrari genius strategy or blind squirrel nut scenario. I think the latter 😂

Really disappointed with the lack of driver girlfriend footage for this race.

Yes I don’t believe there was a single girlfriend clip.

I don't find many F1 stats interesting but this one shared during FP1 was quite eye opening. No one under 18 has witnessed a Ferrari driver win a championship. It didn't feel that long ago when Kimi won!

Norris looks hooked up, should be an easy win if he gets a clean start and the team don’t mess it up for him.

Looks more interesting behind with the two Ferraris and max ahead of Oscar. Carlos drove well, seems to have got on top of his early season struggles. Wonder if he can get back any of the 5 grid places he lost due to a penalty.

Impressive quali from Norris, all about the start tonight though. Look out for George and Max scrapping into turn 1.

Would be good if they can all keep Max behind.

Piastri has really gone off the boil, would be good for the championship if he can up his game.

I’m not traditionally a Ferrari fan, but it’s good to see them both at the sharp end.

(I do still detest the stoopid theatrical 3-stage F1 quali format though).

3rd is a good starting point in this race, it’s a decently long drag to 1st corner so Lando needs a really good start and some clever defending

I thought the Ferrari would be a dog after seeing the size of the cooling cover ducts they put in this weekend

Think as usual though their race pace will be worse because they seem to do an awful lot of lift and coast.

How did max not get a penalty for his dive bomb? Lewis daft for not backing off after failing to go down the escape road properly. Maybe he thought he’d have the pace once free to put drive a penalty?
