Sad news - only 66 - but he's lead a life though

A legend, and highly influential

I can remember seeing Soft Cell on Top of the Pops in the early 80s and being fascinated by them

The look - leather, biker jackets, but on thin, clearly not tough men. I knew somehow they were 'different' (effeminate, gay, whatever). And the sound too - electronic, precise, clean - keyboards and a reel to reel in the background etc
