I think that was just a prep coat - he’s keeping the original colour AFAIK

These images appeared over the weekend on the Lotus Forum. 60's Elan +2.

No idea if the owner had or deployed an extinguisher, but - keep a fire safety stick in your boot folks. Only £70 odds and they really don't take up much space....

i presume the “box” behind the roll bars (they’re the seat backs looking again) is the fuel tank? that looks remarkably “whole” compared to everything around it!

Some BMWs wot I photo'd yesterday

Went along with my neighbour in his M4 Cabriolet to a BMW meet that started at Chieveley services and headed to Reading BMW. Lots of M in various, mostly modified forms, not least

Most of what was around it would’ve been fibreglass or fabric tbf.

I’ve seen 5 G wagon EVs this week. Only recognised by their green plate so there may be more that I’ve dismissed as non EV versions. Kind of surprised at their popularity but they’re also the perfect car for London.
How about not having a sig at all?

Not sure about London, but I love driving the x5 around town, big mirrors and good visibility makes it strangely better than the smaller more responsive cars.

G wagens line the streets of certain areas of london, so an EV one that isn’t chucking out the pollution of a big V8 locally seems like the perfect solution. Then putting some new swanky trinkets and badges to show everyone you have the latest thing and a massive price tag and you have the perfect car for london.
