Re: FTAO Mike1215

To be honest it was dealing with mum and her house etc ( she passed away ) combined with life taking over and for some reason my phone deciding it didn’t like opening the site and bombing out
Now it is Imgur that doesn’t work properly

Re: FTAO Mike1215
Sorry to hear about your mum
Imgur kicks me out occasionally and when I eventually get back in It takes me an age to find the right button to access my photos

Cheers guys - inevitable for all of us
The Imgur thing ( that seems to be intermittent ) is that it won’t give you the BB img code on a phone ( ok on a PC ) - only a gallery link
Probably down to some iOS upgrade somewhere. They’ll fix it eventually
Re: FTAO Mike1215
Hey Mike. It is indeed in inevitable, but condolences regardless.
The imgur issue isn't just you - I've got an ongoing technical query raised with them from 25-Aug on this subject. Still no progress.....

Condolences Mike, went through it a couple of years ago. Inevitable but doesn't make it easier. And if your dealing with the estate the amount of admin was surprising even in our pretty straightforward case.Mike1215 wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 3:09 pmJohn wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 12:03 pm Sorry to hear about your mum

On the imgur thing. I had the same issue, on Android I've managed to work around it (although it's a PITA). You basically don't allow it to force you into the app, stay in the browser then go desktop mode on the web page and you can get the .jpg url.

It is indeed a bit of a faff……
It happened before …. Then it was fixed …. Then back again
As you say, works fine if you’re not in the app

Condolences Mike but as others have said it’s good to see you post, I have such fond memories of chasing the cosseh and hearing the tyres chirping as they struggled to find traction at speed…one of these days we should have another blast across wales.

Sorry to hear about you mom, Mike - condolences. It's a shame this wasn't earlier, you could have popped along to the Midlands curry a few weeks back and met some familiar faces!
Re: FTAO Mike1215
Thanks guys
It was a perfect Autumn day

Haha - mad to think that was 18 years ago Dan - and yes, even on R888s its traction limited, only 205sdan wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 10:16 pm Condolences Mike but as others have said it’s good to see you post, I have such fond memories of chasing the cosseh and hearing the tyres chirping as they struggled to find traction at speed…one of these days we should have another blast across wales.

Re: FTAO Mike1215
What sort of powers is yours producing Mike?
Re: FTAO Mike1215
Enough to make you pay attention

I’d say about 370 mik - it was under 1200 kg at the weigh bridge without a spare in the well
i think they usually weighed in about 1205 - 1215kg when new and weighed on road tests with half a tank
So about the same as an M2 OG ……but 350kg less. It hasn’t got the traction off the mark compared to something like that - but in gear midrange is good. Traction control is a LSD
Re: FTAO Mike1215
Sorry to hear about your mam, always difficult and a surprisingly large amount of hard work after the fact to deal with.
I think sapphire cossies might be the most underrated super saloon out there, they still look great now

Re: FTAO Mike1215
Noice. I remember several tests from back in the day where the rears had been flipped for 225’s ?
Mine makes similar power, but is pushing that through 285’s (and mid engine obvs).
