Re: Trump
I that Kirk chap - t's a good distraction for trump, his fans won't be so focused on his failure to protect Qatar (staunch US ally) from Israel and the Epstein stuff.
The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

Re: Trump
He's a horrible tit.
Watching the mayoral question time he is a hateful human being. I've dealt with arseholes who act like that in meetings and it makes me want to pack an emergency tiger to throw for when it gets too much
Plus a friend is a Hackney Cab driver and he appears to be hated by all Taxi drivers. As we all know Taxi drivers know the down low so I trust his opinion.

Re: Trump
Irrespective of your personal feelings towards him, you don't think it unpalatable and troublesome that the goverment let a foreign head of state dictate terms for an event hosted in and by Britain? And Trump is an even bigger tit/threat/numpty/bumpkin/jebend/insult of your choosing.V8Granite wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 7:30 am He's a horrible tit.

They've rolled over and conceded home ground to placate someone powerful without a fight. Next time it will be even harder to say no.

Re: Trump
Yes, but as he's a UK politician, representing this country that's a fair challenge to ask if we want them visiting. I'd expect the same if it was Putin or Kim Jong Un (or the like) coming for a visit. You could argue that he should leave international affairs to government, but he's allowed to voice his opinion.V8Granite wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 1:23 pmHe tried to do exactly that to Trump though.DeskJockey wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 12:24 pmIrrespective of your personal feelings towards him, you don't think it unpalatable and troublesome that the goverment let a foreign head of state dictate terms for an event hosted in and by Britain? Re: Trump
The actual source for this is Trump. He's the one who claims to have prevented Khan from being there - but given there's literally a decade of quite justified anger, in public, from Khan about Trumps open Islamophobia and racism, if an invite were extended, I dunno who'd think it'd be Trump who'd be doing the snubbing.
"Hey Sadiq, you want to come to this dinner honouring that guy you think is a cunt?"
Khan has a long history of giving Trump two fingers for, when you get down to brass tacks, being a stupid racist twat.

Any paper who thinks what Trump said is the real story is one you probably shouldn't be reading.

Trumps a massive fucking liar, remember? If it's sunny outside, he'd claim he told the rain not to turn up if he thought it get him the vote and support of those who don't understand how weather works.Sir Sadiq did not attend the state banquet and the BBC understands he did not seek or expect an invitation.
