Buying a 2yr older car which doesn't have the lovely bucket seats just to have a faster 0-60 time is rather missing the point I think.
There's a GTS with a manual and buckets for the sale for the same price and 10k on the clock. That's gotta be the smart choice I would have thought (I know you want PDK so perhaps doesn't do it for you).

I do keep having to remind myself when I think the prices are ridiculous that mine is still 60/70% of that value at 10 years and 48k on the clock. Makes no sense.

There's also a new model hybrid turbo GTS in shark blue for 130k...

Personally I don't think I'd ever spend six figures on a (modern) 911 (unless perhaps it was a 4.0 GT3). Circa 100k is 458 territory for me and 130-150 F12.

Oi! You liked the 812, remember! /shakesfist 😂

There’s are lots of 992.2S listed, it’s never been a better time to buy a new/nearly new Porsche.. they are “motivated sellers” 😉

 Spot on - I do prefer the 812 but they're not looking like coming down to any sensible price any time soon.

That 992 GTS with buckets is being sold by Epicurean. Is that Gavster? I doubt he’s offering a full 2yr official warranty.

The seats - even the passenger’s - look surprisingly worn for 10k miles. I’d discount it even ignoring my PDK preference ( which is absolute - I’m not getting a manual).

From reading, odometer blockers seem to be a common thing on high end cars. It's probably been on track experience duty :P

I like that one - silver alloys required but Rubystar suits it.

On one hand I feel the base 911 represents poor value compared to an M3 which now far exceeds its BHP (they were always similarly powerful from the 90s onwards I believe). But on the other hand a base 911 is pretty much all you really need as a road car and don't think you'd ever think it slow. And therefore you have my blessing Jobbo :-)

The whole thing looks a little uncared for for a 10k mile £100k car. Looks like it needs a thorough scrub. Even just brushing the seat fabric so it doesn’t look scuffed and the messy lines on the carpeted rear section would help. Wheels need a thorough clean, and there’s a worrying amount of weights stuck inside one of them. Nice close up of the stones wedged in the gap between front wing and sill too.

I reckon the first owner sold it because their girthy bottom wouldn't fit in the buckets  The state of those bolsters despite being lined with carbon! The SC plate not helping the stereotype

"98% complete" in other words, that 2% is gonna cost a fortune to resolve.

Reminds me of that Ferrari 355 engined Elise that was "95% complete" - I can't remember the story, but it only used to run for 50 miles before something destroyed itself. But hey, it's like the AC that just needs a regas, it's fine otherwise! I just don't have the time to regas it!

I wonder if that 2% is getting it registered?

Sold for £61,500, plus £4,400 fees makes it almost £66k. Not sure how it falls spec wise, but there's a 2020 GT4 at a Porsche dealer for under £70k, so that's a solid price for what is potentially a blind private purchase.
