So funny isn't it that I always thought the 355 was gorgeous and the TR somewhat dated but I now think its the other way round.

ETA: I guess from the wheels that that is a pretty late one - just before they moved to the 512M?

It's a 1990. Is that late ? I don't know much about Ferraris. He's mentioned that they're not the original wheels though, when he bought it it had 355 wheels on, they're very similar and he didn't care but he got fed up of smart-arses at car shows pointing it out all the time ! So he put these on.

1984-1996 so roughly in the middle. 1990 looks like it would be the last year of the original Testarossa whereas the wheels and front lip spoiler on your friends are from the 512TR model which was 1991 onwards.

This is an unmodified 1990 model.

Ah, and the colour-coded sills too. So I guess it's had a facelift at some point.

Just been behind a Mclaren Senna. I’m sure it’s massively capable, but my god is it ugly and ill proportioned!

That rear spoiler is just hideous!

Unsurprisingly he was heading to the dealer which is next to the station - talking of hideous, check out the wheel arch gaps on this bad boy....

How did they get the P1 looking so good whilst being functional and get these so wrong?!

They don't make tyres for the original Testarossa wheel sizes any more hence owners needing to change.

Tyres for most classics are reproduced now - though they may not be as easily available/high performance/cheap.

I was just going on the Hoovies Garage vid I watched last night! His latest purchase is an early Testarrosa and he pointed out the aftermarket wheels and said the tyres were no longer made.

The tyre debate is fucking odd, it must be impossibly rare to have a wheel you can’t fit a tyre on, as any wheel is designed to have a small tolerance of widths and profiles on it. Some people must be really odd to go to the trouble of getting an entire set of new wheels when they can a 10mm wider tyre instead.

Saw a new Vantage the other night. It was dark but I think it was this colour. Looked very aggressive in the metal
