Re: Midlands curry
Alas I won't be bringing the elise as i'm doing a little bit of work on it at the moment, but i'll be along later. Looking forward to it.
Re: Midlands curry
It feels like the Elise is destined for greater things than a curry, but I'm looking forward to hearing your Abarth again anyway

Saag was added to cause envy, Mik.
Good to see you all - I hadn’t realised it had been so long, Matt. Once upon a time we drove cars….

Spookily Mrs mik made a risotto tonight with fresh spinach (plus smoked haddock, shallots & Boursin cheese), which was feckin delicious, but I still ate it in an inexplicable saag-driven huff

Good food, great company and we managed to reference some forum in jokes from 20 years ago.
And yes, more frequently meeting is a good idea, even if we can't work out how to split a bill without accidentally giving a £6,000 tip.

I think there are apps to help with that kind of thing. Or, my BiL teaches A-level maths and is thinking of doing some private tuition on the side. I can put you in touch with him?Jimmy Choo wrote: Tue Aug 19, 2025 9:51 am Good food, great company and we managed to reference some forum in jokes from 20 years ago.

You've done me dirty with that picture, Simon - going in with a big claw while being judged by Chris. For the record, I only had 1.
But yes, enjoyed the overdue cachup where I also learned about RAS and that Abarth 124s are basically MX5s....so it was educational as well.
