“We’re gonna get the drug prices down,” Trump said. “Not 30% or 40%, which would be great. Not 50% or 60%. No, we’re gonna get them down 1,000%, 600%, 500%, 1,500%. Numbers that are not even thought to be achievable.”
Re: Trump
Apparently he is mooching around Scotland. I suspect he will not be made welcome by the public, the National Headline "34 time convicted Felon visits Scotland" and apparently plenty of signs, wheree he is due "Twinned with Epstein Island"
Re: Trump
I thought he must he pretty popular with the wealthy up there? His golf courses seem busy and doing well enough to open a second one.
Also another thing that crossed my mind was the Scottish authorities spending weeks fencing off his entire golf course and then the UK sending thousands of additional police there. Seeing as it’s not an official state visit and he’s actually just checking out his private business ventures why are they bothering.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Trump
No idea if it was succeful, I know there was huge controversy about the building of teh first one on rare environmentaly important land, but Aberdeen City Council approved it. I also know Trump owns a huge number of businesses, despite being so good at "the deal" he bankrupted a casino.Mito Man wrote: Sat Jul 26, 2025 5:34 pm I thought he must he pretty popular with the wealthy up there? Whether he is "popular" I highly doubt it, but I know very few Wealthy people so who knows.

I don't know anyone properly wealthy either, but I've seen first hand since moving up here that the Scottish golf "tourism" scene is thriving and doing very well without needing him.Gavin wrote: Sun Jul 27, 2025 10:44 amNo idea if it was succeful, I know there was huge controversy about the building of teh first one on rare environmentaly important land, but Aberdeen City Council approved it. I can only imagine how much this visit is costing us, the Scottish taxpayer. When you look at the amount of tax we're paying and the dire state of public services and councils, that doesn't sit well.
Trump himself has always appeared to be an utterly selfish and dislikable c*nt of a man, only out for himself and his cronies. It's been depressing to see how he's just carried that on into his 1st and 2nd stints as president. I don't see what good he's doing for the US or the world just now, even if you just look at the charitable/aid foundations he's dismantled this time round.
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: Trump
That was some watch... The way they animated him was genius and not a single f*ck was given.
And then the end

Cheers,

Re: Trump
My first thought when I saw that golf video was "Why the fuck did they cut it there?"
There's no evidence of cheating in that video
A caddy drops a ball (don't know if it was his caddy, or what happened to the ball)
The clip needed to show Trump playing that ball
Why are people so dumb?
