Leather quality

Post by IanF »

I visited a local BMW dealership today and tried out an M4 and last gen M5 - was quite interesting. Is the leather on the 5 series better than the 4?? Certainly felt last plastic.

Their monthlies are comparable to a 992 GTS so I’m trying to ignore the big house purchase in the near future …
Cheers,

Ian

Depends on the spec?
Dakota, Nappa, Merino in order of quality for real leather.
How about not having a sig at all?

I think perceived wisdom is that last-gen M5 had best quality interior in a long time for the normal BMWs, so no surprise with what you're saying.

And apparently its got significantly worse with the new version.
