I know nothing about football but seems like a well liked player. 3 children and only recently married 😕

Obviously we don’t actually know the specifics of the accident, but I’m surprised it’s not happened to current players so often. There seems to be plenty of footballers crashing fast cars and getting done for drink driving etc

Or racing to catch a ferry in this case and got a blowout.

Thoroughly decent fella and one hell of a footballer. Married his childhood sweetheart 2 weeks ago - 3 kids.

Brother also killed. It’s an unimaginable tragedy

It’s a very sad story, especially after seeing his final Instagram post.

From the damage to the Armco the car looked to be going some.
How about not having a sig at all?

I have to say I'm a little dubious of "got a puncture" being the entire story.

I think that was the Police's first assumption. Shows the difference Vs what the UK police would say about such an incident.

I think the suggestion is that it was his brother driving as well.

It's very sad for someone so young and with 3 kids. I've seen some of the pics of the wreck and I think it's fair to say that they were going a bit quicker than ideal.

Also, Mat Armstrong be like

As a footballer, I think he was an exemplary individual. It’s too easy to be tempted by the bullsh1t, and he seemed well grounded. 28 is too young for anyone to die, but it certainly hits home harder when everything in their life is going extremely well - I like the fact that it’s very positive comments coming out about him, his wife, kids and family for all sides, including supporters of other teams - which is certainly not a given - QEPD Jota
