There was a problem with the feeds on iplayer for both Charli XCX and Scissor Sisters - Charli was shown live on BBC1 so there was an alternative but I had to wait to see Jake Shears. I’d say they were better. Great show.
Re: Glastonbury 2023
I totally get he’s not for everyone and there’s a genuine debate as to whether Neil Young should be headlining the Pyramid Stage in 2025…
But he was fucking awesome. Absolutely loved loved loved that.
I’m a lifelong fan so I get I’m biased but there aren’t too many left still touring that played Woodstock and I’m an old hipppie at heart so for me, a perfect Saturday night of music

Came here to say the same, right at the peak of the crescendo of Common People, so perfect

Just seen one of my favourite acts of this year. Never heard of them before and they've just done 1 track live on the Beeb. They looked very Welsh, but apparently from Brizzle - close enough
Getdown Services and they played Dog Dribble. Fantastic foot tapping British non-serious rock.
Will definitely be checking them out.

So Olivia Rodrigo played the same set (with the same camera work etc) as BST Hyde Park on Friday. Except we had Ed Sheeran come out for one song. Would have preferred Robert Smith, especially as I was wearing my Cure tour t-shirt from ‘92. Fair to say that judging by the cheers/screams when he came out, the crowd knew who
Ed Sheeran was, unlike Robert Smith.

Left over crest; tightens.

Why isn’t Rod Stuarts set on the Glastonbury iPlayer channel?

Singing was a bit ropey in places but it was a great show all round
Re: Glastonbury 2023
It took Shazam a couple of attempts to ID them, great song.Swervin_Mervin wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 9:20 pm Just seen one of my favourite acts of this year. Never heard of them before and they've just done 1 track live on the Beeb. They looked very Welsh, but apparently from Brizzle - close enough

I didn't mind him to be honest, love the older stuff though.
Re: Glastonbury 2023
I get the he’s a Marmite type of performer, I was more interested as to why his set is not on iPlay when all the others, apart from the dickheads, are there.

Must’ve just been added as I searched last night.John wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 12:00 pm It is, but you have to use search

Stewart, my hand is in a cast so I couldn’t be bothered to correct it before. It’s there without searching now
