No worries. Next time I have a dodgy old BMW to sell you’re my first port of call
In all seriousness I’m hugely thankful it sold today as the money is really needed. My wife has an organ transplant booked next week.
This is arriving on Wednesday:
(it really is, “organ transplant” is a rarely appropriate pun that we’ve had huge mileage from recently

Wow - what’s the details?
I’m always blown away when organ players do two hands on the keys and feet on the pedals. Respect to Mrs Jumper

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's a second hand Allen C6.
https://www.allenorgan.com/support/owne ... 330124.pdf
Most of it means nothing to me as I have zero musical talent. It's about 20 years old. Allen have a showroom & workshop in High Wycombe which is not too far from here. Despite the age all spare parts are available and as it's coming from a main dealer they offer a five year warranty as well as installation, and fine-tuning the sound & action to suit the customer. Impressed.
It has a volume control of course but as it's intended to fill a small church it's never going to go above about 10% in our dining room

Wife very excited of course. Apart from houses & cars it's the biggest (both size & £s) thing we've ever bought.

I'm hoping the neighbours don't gather round to watch. It'll be embarrassing if I can't get it in.DeskJockey wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 9:55 amThe more the merrier?Sundayjumper wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 9:40 amThey're sending two strong men on Wednesday to help get it inJobbo wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 7:31 am She’s a talented lady. Re: Your fleet running reports
i’ve got a track outing with the Elise in a few weeks time so thought i’d give it a good look over. i’d noticed a few little bits like a brake light, some missing clips i wanted to replace and a few more new rattles to investigate. Also that the exhaust wasn’t sitting very well in its opening - the left was sat against the bodywork.
Got it up and in a very surprising “lots of access to actually see stuff” in a lotus, the exhaust hanger had broken off. I’ve ordered a universal hanger that should arrive friday, for me to fit it saturday ahead of the track day in wednesday. All a bit tight!
i might take the opportunity to replace the rear diffuser too - the one it has is a little chavvy for my liking - it sticks out about 5 inches from the rear. or i could try cutting it down whilst it’s off, but no idea if i’ll be able to do a neat enough job and not scratch the powdercoat.

Serious Track Work, one assumes.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Almost correct, but should be all capitals.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Clearly I have fallen from the heady heights of Evo Forum lore.
But it's OK, my car is TOO EXTREME for SERIOUS TRACK WORK thanks to it's 19" wheels.
