We popped to Cars & Coffee Inverness at the weekend. It was apparently a quiet day for them and I have to say, the older stuff was much more interesting.

Excuse some of the janky backgrounds, I used the image cleanup thing to remove some people etc but didn't spend much time on it!

I don't think I posted any photos from the Redditch car show a week or so ago. A bit different but I'll start with something similar to you, Mike:

This is the original Del Lines Stag-engined 2000 estate:
Image

When did you last see a Probe? I've actually seen three recently, two of which were for sale.
Image

Not sure if this was an original Russell Brookes car:

Image

Yes, the other side looked the same.

Faster than Beany's Puma:
Image

Somewhat patinated but very cool:
Image

Not Y-reg, unlike John Shuttleworth's:

Car of the show for me, mostly down to the presentation with an original Mosaic special brochure on the bonnet:

@Ascender I feel like I've seen that Lotus Cortina before. Will need to look back at my pics.

I've never been to Festival of the Unexceptional but I quite like the concept. It's been aeons since I saw an Ambassador. I forgot to take a photo of the Ital parked next to the CX.

That Citroen is a cool thing. Quite fancy something like that - has cut price SM vibes.

London Concours on this week - saw a DB6 Volante opposite the office. Will try and get down to see Harry's Turbo S... though that does depend on me managing to leave work pre midnight at some point this week :(

Spurred me to check the MOT history of the old thing, seems it's till off the road in the yard of the breaker who bought it off me, and insisted that he give me £300 for it as he couldn't just have it for nothing!

(it needed about a grand of work and I didn't have a grand)

I thought for a moment that there was a set of cow-horns on the "T" of "Fire Protection Engineers" and was pondering why TF they'd do that :? , when I realised it's the camera car headlight/DRL

Heh. It's our i3, if anyone was playing "identify the car by the headlight shape" here.

That’s one of those trials cars, isn’t it? Is there something on at Nailsworth?

Spotted yesterday on one of my neighbours’ drives: a Defender Octa in matte grey. With a same colour 110 behind it. Did give off Channel 4 Hunted vibes seeing them both there. The Octa has cool alloys but otherwise doesn’t look terribly different to the 110.

I imagine it’s bounced off some rocks and bent the trailing arms!

They have very basic suspension, the gain negative camber and toe in on compression, so I guess if raised enough they’d go towards positive camber and toe out. It doesn’t look massive amounts higher than standard though.

My thought was jacked up, and the camber has gone wonky at both ends as a result - as while they might have been intended to be lowered, they were absolutely never intended to be *raised*.

Some nice Audis... I love that classic Audi estate. What model/generation is it?

And an Elite!
