I've no idea what class of racing or which race but that sounds lenient for a Verstappen-goes-cycling use of track limits and the ensuing wipe-most-of-the-field-out crash.

It was the Tour of Flanders a few years ago, so one of Flagship races at the highest levels!

The UCI is weird with the punishments they hand out, although crashes caused like that are rare you don't generally get punished for causing a crash. Wearing the wrong length socks can get you a fine though

I guess it puts him out of at least that event and will affect rankings. The socks are fair enough, standards must be maintained.
