I know you were all anxious to know what I settled on so here you go. I am now a Gallic Dandy.

Oi! - FOPP started in Glasgow

Looks good - and a 5-character plate sits nicely on the rear without double-stacking. Approved.

Oops. Sorry. I only ever visited the Edinburgh one

In checking the meaning of fop I was amused to find an alternative term for a fop or dandy is "fribble". That's a funny word.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fop

The pejorative term today carries the connotation of a person, usually male, who is overly
concerned with trivial matters (especially matters of fashion) and who affects elite social standing.
I'll let y'all decide if I mean it ironically or not....

I like your new plate, SJ.

Have seen M4LTA myself in the last year or so; can’t remember where.

M4LTA must get around a bit, I spotted it locally as we both left J4 of the M3, a long way from your neck of the woods Jobbo !

It might have been when I was with my dad down in Hampshire to be fair - I genuinely can't remember where I spotted it. But it stuck in my mind because it's a great plate.

Fancy becoming the official driver for our school's PTA? FOP (technically FoP) is our TLA.
