For the FTAO of JL
Re: For the FTAO of JL
Against my better judgement, my wife wanted a slightly misspaced plate. She has agreed to replace it with a legal one if she gets any warnings.

I can't believe you referenced this thread and former of this parish in a number plate Jobbo!

Happy to be of service.

FA 12OMA on a 12OMA.
Plate ruined the car. As did ‘A V12 BOS’ on a green Aventador.

Found out last week that Chris Eubank Snr has the number plate EU13ANK which although not perfect, is a very good representation of his name.
There's something cool when a whole plate makes a single word that's 6 or 7 characters. Reminds me of the plate I saw years ago, XP05URE, really strong.

Will she be hanging one from the rear view mirror or have one (or ten) sat on the rear parcel shelf?
Left over crest; tightens.

When we had our RX8, one of the guys on the forum got either AR07ARY or RR07ARY - which I thought wasGavster wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 8:29 am There's something cool when a whole plate makes a single word that's 6 or 7 characters. Reminds me of the plate I saw years ago, XP05URE, really strong.

I've always fancied something silly like SO51GIS or CU57ARD...

Re: For the FTAO of JL
I could do with a reg for the Disco, if anyone is browsing DVLA and comes up with some good ideas, hit me. Standard rear plate is square so it needs to be something that is one line & short, or works when split over two lines.
Re: For the FTAO of JL
LO10 MUD, LO75 MUD both available. Latter works for me for £399..... (edit: but duh - can't be fitted on a car of your disco's age)Sundayjumper wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 9:23 am I could do with a reg for the Disco, if anyone is browsing DVLA and comes up with some good ideas, hit me.
AH11 AWD (or other "AWD" variant? I am not sure my suggestion works fabulously. SWxxMUD?)

Re: For the FTAO of JL
Can’t find anything good which hasn’t got an excessive stupidity tax on it.
Anything with L2 followed by 3 characters is only £250 which is weirdly cheap for a 5 character plate. Is that also a Northern Ireland plate?

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: For the FTAO of JL
Interestingly SO53GYS and SO54GYS are both available at £250. Not sure they are as obvious though?
It's like the UK-manufactured retort to LA54GNE on an Italian vehicle (except the latter works superbly
