Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw my first '25 today. Odd that it took 6 weeks for a 25 plate to show up.
Anyway, GU25 SVR on a laser blue LR/RR thingy. Looked pretty smart really.

There was an F90 M5 local to me with a short private reg on it which I’ve seen quite a bit. Spotted that reg plate on a new M5 Touring parked outside the pub last weekend. Despite being a Touring fan, I preferred his old car. Though cheap deals and the company car tax benefits of the new one may lead me to investigate it.
I’ve seen loads of 25 plates around, @Simon - Midlanders clearly still like a new plate. I suppose our Cayenne is one but it’s on a private plate so not as obvious.

Saw a 25 plate Capri today whilst dog walking, a sad moment. The Puma was bad enough, but this is a new low for ford.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It’s annoying because whilst it wouldn’t be my choice it’s not a terrible looking car, all they had to do was call it something else
Re: Teh Spotted Thread

Lucid Air in NYC. Extremely dull to look at but interesting given all the crazy drag races...
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
They bring a car to Goodwood every year and state that they’ll start selling the car here by the end of the year
Don’t know why they bother.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It's what everyone wants. Was just reading an article about how well the Alfa Junior is doing sales wise (relative for AR, not across the segment).
Even the SUV demand is strong enough to break through AR reliability concerns of old.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw a couple of renault 5s, one green, one yellow. Even my NCG son thought they were funky

The Langham? Very nice..
Lucid have a show room in Chelsea (opposite RH rooftop restaurant which is nice) so you see a few near there

I was actually staying at the Plaza - just happened to be walking by the Langham

I expect the Langham is better but I wasn't choosing this time...

Currently in Malaga, every car seems to be electric or hybrid. Seen a new Renault 5 and an i8 Roadster which I didn't even know was a thing!

Porto and Aveiro are full of old cars, seen a Merc 124 and a W201 taxis, plenty of 106s, Saxos and Puntos/Unos. Being on the Atlantic coast, I'm surprised they've not rusted away.

These have been sitting there under covers for months, covers off now but it's still been a few weeks:

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Lotus Drivers Club meet this morning (not that I am a member).
Loads of attention/interest in Scott’s Alpine, and the French took the crown as the other star of the day was an immaculate Clio Williams. Didn’t realise til we spoke to the owner - it’s only the evo-fleet car.
Owner had restored it all himself (apart from the paintwork) and it was sitting on new old-stock OEM wheels and the correct 185/55 Michelins. Rear parcel shelf with the built-in suit compartment

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Wow, that Williams looks pristine. I’d still rather have a 205 GTI as a retro hot hatch but I bet the Willy is worth more.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
There used to be one in a village up the road from me, sat rotting in a driveway. Not even sure it ever moves
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
There is one which fits that exact description outside a house near my office too. I suspect there is a wide range of values for a Willy.
