York drag way.
Not perfect out of the box but it's amazing how many people who didn't know me 20 years ago now talk about how much they admired that car now they do know me.
John hopefully enjoyed it as much as I did

Having owned both 3.0 and Z4M they’re pretty different.Matty wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 4:58 pm Problem is that (from what I've read) it seemed to be generally agreed that the 3.0 was a "better" car than the Z4M...and didn't look hugely different either - whereas at least the Z3M has that very unique appearance
yep, i highlighted the word special on purpose! The fact we’re talking about it and how much it splits opinions is enough to highlight the point really.Jobbo wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 6:30 am The Z3 Coupe certainly was ‘special’ looking, but probably not in the way you meantIt’s a wilfully ugly car but not in a cool and interesting way like an Alfa SZ, and slapping some wider arches and wheels on it for the M version doesn’t cure that.
It’s not as if I see many coupe versions of the Z4 either, but the styling simply works on both the non-M and the M versions.
Ah, now then, the zcoupe had arches for sure, but were the M's any wider?Jobbo wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 6:30 am The Z3 Coupe certainly was ‘special’ looking, and slapping some wider arches and wheels on it for the M version doesn’t cure that.
