i’m currently waiting at a tyre place sorting my wife’s front tyres. I noticed yesterday that one looked like this…

The MECHANIC was querying if it was from a potholes or maybe bumping up kerbs.. i confirmed that this did sound like her driving style.

At least there isn't much tread left on the sidewall probably needed replacing soon anyway :D

Assuming they’re runflats because that would definitely have been all the way through the sidewall on a normal tyre!

Wowsers that's quite impressive. What happened to the pattern on the sidewall that you can see above the chasm of a hole. It seems to disappear below it - has it been worn off?

Maybe you need some of those bus tyres with the dimples to show sidewall wear

Spent the whole journey knowing it was coming up, it finally came around as we came off the motorway and had to slow down. Subsequent road too busy to get back up to speed.

4473 miles since you reset the trip - but when does one do so in an EV?

Schroedinger's tyre.

It looks like it's torn along the dotted line.

Reminds me of the one (i tried to do) on my e46 M3 (i know i’ve posted this before). i had it all set up to have the odo, trip and time all in sequence, then the fucking decimal place changed about 5 seconds late and the mile ticked over…

Only when I specifically want to check something, but the app keeps a history of all journeys anyway so it’s not really used.

I don’t really use the trip for anything in the Evora either - other than things like heading for a drive with mates.
