Type 00 in the flesh, which looks like a 90’s CAD rendering of a futuristic car that’s been rendered into a street scene using augmented reality. Kinda cool really.

Initial reaction.

That it kinda works. Be interesting if that styling is compatible with normal colours. Maybe it doesn't matter and Jag are going to make $30k paintjobs mandatory like Ferrari.

Why does it have such a huge bonnet if it's electric?

The iPace was clever because it was bigger on the inside than an XJ because they didn't need the bonnet space.

I still think it looks like a mid 90s low polygon generic no brand ‘car’ from a video game.

A bit like the cybertruck. Kind of cool for a second or two because it’s so strange. Then you realise it just looks stupid.

Space for batteries?

I know skateboard is more packaging efficient but for this styling priority #1 exercise they'll be fitted wherever.

Actually, I'm applying too much logic, it's ALL about the styling.

I reckon the reason a lot of electric cars retain traditional features of ICE cars is because that's what we expect them to have. Same goes for front grilles, which are slowly being modified and removed. If you remove the bonnet from a car, it's like it's been emasculated, and this is supposed to be a big dick of a powerful car, so they've kept a big schlong on the front.

It’s dumb imo. They should be using the benefits of EV architecture to maximise interior space but they’ve made something that exaggerates the issues of the front engined rwd layout.

Makes a front engined Ferrari look practically packaged.

You need a decent sized frunk to store that big yellow "Def-Tec" generator. Of. Course.

We’ve created a platform impossible to retrofit an ice drivetrain into but left space for an off the shelf petrol generator to slot in.

We call it the extendo rangeo edition

Not building anything currently? Or is it the engine plant which supplies Land Rover?

Generally this sort of thing happens when the business isn't going so well... odd

It does look more like 69 rather than RR

Or BP. I see BP and 69 over RR.
How about not having a sig at all?
