Fair!!

it’s been on there for a while - i guess it’s waiting for someone who’ll appreciate its uniqueness!

Some decent stock in the£40-50ish k market on there at the moment!
I did see him say on Facebook that he'd dropped the price a fairly substantial amount to clear the way for new stock. The colour is a bit marmite; I loved in on first sight, now I'm not so sure, but it is at least very rare and almost unique. Right wheels, nice alcantara interior and what looks to me a good spec though, for someone colourblind.

It'll be a £10k or so PTS option on a 911 - my main objection would be that it's not a bright enough hue for a small fast car like an Elise.

Yeah, that's not for me.
Metallic Green can look fantastic - there's a Sport350 Exige in that colour that's been for sale for 18 months, but it's massively overpriced. Hence the 18 months.

Re the Elise thing....I did consider a nice S3, but it would have to be very cheap, or very specific to get considered over an Evora or V6 Exige....and despite the sun coming out and fantasising about topless V6 motoring now the sun is out, I think I'm still in the Evora camp.

At the moment, I'm very much leaving it to fate. If a nice one example doesn't turn up in the next 6 months, then the Emira hopefully moves into the picture.

If this was any other colour than Red, it would have potentially been a winner. Very well priced for a 2018 with those miles.

But it's by far my least favourite Lotus colour

yeah, red just isn’t right on Lotii, and with a play car, i think you have to open the garage and love the look of your car too.

Was the metallic white one I linked the wrong spec or too old?

Usually I agree, but I actually quite like that. S3 works better in red than the others.

Red looks quite good on the original Elan (has to be two tone though) and Esprit IMO.

Would be far from my first choice too, but yet to see a red one in the metal. Might work.

Would factoring the price of a wrap in still make it a contender?

I thought all the Sport350's were sold with the matt black elements like this one? (I assume it was 1st owner preference/request to the factory rather than Jon Seal making a mistake about it's spec).

Personally I'd never wrap a car, it's not cheap and it makes it more difficult to sell, unless done from brand new and/or significant evidence it's not hiding anything.

@mik Yeah, its got the slatted engine cover, so I assume it's a custom choice by the owner for the roof/front.

He did list the other car (blue) he had as a 350 though, for some reason, when it wasn't.

Absolutely fair - although I'd always wrap a car rather than paint it a different colour if that is the aim. If I ever sell my MX5 then I might remove the wrap before doing so.

Stonking price for a GT430 Evora

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/17194464

Will Blackham confirmed on the Lotus forum that this is the last car he owns as stock, and he has priced it to sell as once it's gone - he's retired!
