I'm going to have to see how I feel on the day... I assumed since you didn't move there @Gavster that it was cancelled, so now have a commitment on Saturday that will involve a few beers. Driving my car on a hangover is not that enjoyable.

That's the irony, despite not moving, it's still less than 90 mins from my current place via a quick hop onto the North Circular :D

Fair enough, although I highly reccomend few paracetemol and water before bed to asuage that, just in case you can make it ;)

I find Ribena before bed more effective than water, but paracetamol before bed has me intrigued. I usually pop ibuprofen pre-emptively in the morning but pre-bed had never occurred to me.

MIL will be over by Sunday, so I do have a reasonable amount of motivation to dust off the cobwebs and come along. Car hasn't been out much over winter.

Ribena is deffo a good shout, and it's reminded me that I sometimes chug some electrolyte drink, to get the full-on hydration effect. Not sure what it is about paracetemol, but I swear that popping some before bed results in better sleep and a minimised hangover.

It looks to be a clear, crisp and sunny day too 8-)

Be good to see you there @duncs500 .
Thanks for the 11am meeting time, seeing as it's 2 1/2 hours+ for me, I didn't fancy getting up too early.

I've not actually done a meet like this before so had no idea what time they usually start  being more of a social and less of a drive-out, hence late morning seemed more appropriate.

That's one of our motorbike club destinations, it's decent. I should be there, might be on 2 wheels depends on the weather really.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

Hmm, apparently I have a 2 years olds birthday party to go to ( not mine)

I don’t know what time or how long it will go on for. Hopefully not long!

If anyone’s ok with letting me have their number I’ll see when I can escape and catch you somewhere if you’ve not all gone home

My gold tip is good hydration and a nytol pre bed as I find that booze gives me a crap night's sleep which is the main thing that makes me feel dreadful the next day.

Thought I'd better check the car this morning, apart from the ongoing coolant leak it actually started first time and felt good when I nipped out.

I thought it would be dry, but it was a selection of wet, dry, frosty. After not having driven it for a few months, I need to bond with the old girl again!

I’ve been out for a bit of a spin and the roads are drying up nicely, only a bit damp where there are puddles in shaded areas, but it’s lovely out and about 😎

It's absolutely beautiful weather here and looks to be exactly the same tomorrow, chilly overnight then clear and bright - a perfect day to get out of town 8-)
