Agree. Not exactly in the spirit of Lend-Lease is it.

Re: Ukraine
It looked like a preplanned bullying - it might as well have been set in an american school corridor with Zelenskyy trying to get to his locker.

Yes when the Russians are posting things like that you know you've fucked up.MikeHunt wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 11:11 am https://x.com/MedvedevRussiaE/status/18 ... 2440979908

Pity Trump wasn’t around 90 years ago to stop Poland starting ww2.

Re: Ukraine
I was really surprised to see Zelensky on Fox News! We all know how much disinformation is going-on, but is Trump not playing a really dangerous game with his own supporters by the way he's cosying up to Putin? Or do current generations of America just not see Russia as the big bad anymore?
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: Ukraine
Who needs a supporter base when you have both houses of the US govt and are threatening to disbar/arrest judges who disagree with you?
Re: Ukraine
And now he’s turned off the military aid to Ukraine. Trumps red white and blue flag looks more stripey and less starry every day
Re: Ukraine
It's all just a business transaction for the Trump admin.
“If you want real security guarantees, if you want to actually ensure that Vladimir Putin does not invade Ukraine again, the very best security guarantee is to give Americans economic upside in the future of Ukraine,” Vance said.

Re: Ukraine
Bullshit isn’t it. Trump wouldn’t even discuss the security element until after he’d got his grubby little orange hands on the “raw earth” deal.
Basically, there is no security element to the deal.
As i heard on LBC earlier - there isn’t a single decision/statement/action come out of the white house in the last month that Putin wouldn’t be nodding in appreciation of.

Re: Ukraine
Well, that and there were security guarantees for the last agreement, which Trump is now flatly ignoring because he's got an excuse to blackmail someone.
So, you know, it's just another day of the week for him.

Re: Ukraine
A nice little jibe from Vance at the UK and its troops who've fought (and died) in wars alongside the US for the last while. He really is an unlikeable little prick isn't he?

Re: Ukraine
Yeah, we haven’t fought any wars in the last 30-40 years, we definitely didn’t have hundreds of casualties in iraq and afganistan helping the US…
What a prick.
What a prick.
Re: Ukraine
The British army are very well lined by the Americans on the ground. Vance has said a very very stupid statement there.
