Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
An original 959 interior with the stripes on the seats looks amazing. That is just retrimmed in one colour and less interesting than the factory trim
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
This had a lovely chequered interior and a Singer badge on the back… checking online shows a 964 (2016)

ETA it’s a Singer

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
The 964 that's based on will be 1990/91 based on the H plate. So 2016 is presumably the year Singer converted it. I wonder if people will restomod Singers in ~15 years' time?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
that’s absolutely lovely.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I’ve learnt something. I hadn’t realised that restomods can come under ‘radically altered vehicles’ and have to be registered as such.Jobbo wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2025 5:21 pm The 964 that's based on will be 1990/91 based on the H plate. It looks quite shiny in my pic but really wasn’t!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Looks like Monkey might have been driving the Singer. I’ve seen him around a few times

Is that broccers I can see, a few cars down, getting a hard on about the size of the parking bays ?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I have finally spotted a 4 banger C63S in estate form. They must have been on sale for 3 years now and that's the first one I've seen!
The C63 has gone from one of the most popular muscle cars to something you just never see now. Wonder if Mercedes regret that or DGAF due to overall CO2 emissions bollocks.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
They should have just registered AMG as an independent manufacturer and used whatever loophole RUF/Ferrari/Lamborghini use to do away with the co2 shiteMito Man wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 7:22 pm I have finally spotted a 4 banger C63S in estate form. Silver 3 door first shape 1series 130i with an evo sticker in the back window. Looked very tidy and sounded good during a couple of spirited acceleration moments.
Cheers, Harry

Saw my first W206 C63e today in the Tesco car park. First one I've seen in the wild. Saw one last month at the dealer whilst my car was being serviced.

New M5 in black near Trafalgar Square. Didn’t look too massive, didn’t look that special either.

I always fancied one of those. I'm not sure about now but they had a bit of a surge in popularity and were commanding strong money a few years ago.integrale_evo wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 5:37 pm Silver 3 door first shape 1series 130i with an evo sticker in the back window. Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw a blue one in Windsor, definitely has a certain heft to it, but also saw a 520d that also looked as heavy so guess that’s just part of the 5-Series design these days240PP wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:06 pm New M5 in black near Trafalgar Square. Saw a new m5 in north tees hospital car park this morning, in this green

The rear bumper indents that house the reflectors look like someone pranged the clay model and they just rolled with it

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw one at a dealer and I’ve seen a few standard ones around. I like the styling, very imposing.
An absolute unit
