Mornington Crescent
Been a while since I had a good game and I am hoping I might find a few other players on the forum, or maybe some new players who might want to join in with the fun.
I was going to propose we start with Moreton’s second variation of the official standard rules.
Would anyone care to start us off with a station?

Moreton's second? Starting with an easy game, then? That's a bit of a shame as I do like the gracefulness of a reverse transfer in zone 4.Explosive Newt wrote: Sun Feb 09, 2025 12:18 pm Been a while since I had a good game and I am hoping I might find a few other players on the forum, or maybe some new players who might want to join in with the fun.

I'll go Woolwich Arsenal.

Punchy. I will invoke a diagonal (permitted under a parliamentary cycle) and find our way to Elephant and Castle.

I was going to say that was an illegal move until I remembered that while the Castle is in zone 2, the Elephant is in zone 1. Sneaky!
Swiss Cottage.
Just to check, are we using the Northern Heights modification?

Northern Heights are on but Northern Lights are off.
With that in mind... Tooting Broadway!

Re: Mornington Crescent
Tooting Broadway is a clever move and would have trapped me in a Northern line double bind, however today is Sunday and there's planned engineering works on the Central Line which means I can take advantage of the Euston platform change shortcut to get back to Tooting Bec.

Morden? That's a solid move but it does allow me to reverse into Edgeware road.

Last five minutes before 4pm on a Sunday allows me to evoke Murray’s law to flip things momentarily to Kelvinbridge!

Murray's rule can only be played if your F1 has been round the Circle Line or mustaches have moved the diagonal.

I'm still learning the intricacies of the game, but I believe the invocation of Murray's Law would permit the Barbican transposition after the Circle Line diagonal, and therefore I'll offer Temple.
