Elon posting that the Swedish shooting incident isn’t even being reported anywhere in Europe.

What a moron. The sooner he has an overdose or gets locked up the better.

So elon wants to use AI for air traffic control.

Ian: Approaching Dulles. On schedule for 8:30 arrival.

ChatGPTCoPilot: Diverting to Georgetown Airport.

Ian: Georgetown has an airport?

ChatGPTCoPilot: Georgetown has an airport founded in 1973 by Greta Thunberg.

Ian: That doesn’t sound right. Did you just make that up?

ChatGPTCoPilot: I’m sorry, you’re right. Georgetown Airport was founded by Whitney Houston.

Ian: No I mean do you have proof Georgetown has an airport

ChatGPTCoPilot: Yes I have this essay “Georgetown has an airport” written by Jesus of Nazareth. Anyway landing now.

Ian: Fcuk.

In all seriousness, is Elon having a breakdown? I can imagine him being the kind of person that would try to be across an ever increasing and diverse load until he melted his head.

Lots of people are not good leaders, has he found himself in a position that is entirely outside his ability (well yes, but I mean in terms of his structure)? Politics is not like science, the variables are too diverse and uncontrollable. Donold (#richb) is the opposite, quite comfortable with the chaos.

The later won't be happening anytime soon as the republicans have the entire deck stacked in their favour. The former I could quite easily see happening before trump's term is out.

He's not having a breakdown. He's a sociopath getting high on himself because he's functionally untouchable, and he's now openly testing the barriers of what he can get away with. Nazi salute? Fine. Digging into the publics social security data? No fuckers seriously got in his way. Shutting down USAid? Who's actually trying to stop him?

As far as he's concerned, there's zero risk to him.

At this stage it looks increasingly likely that the only thing that'll stop him is likely a high velocity lead injection to the face, which will likely get his meat shield....sorry, son, killed too.

And given the loony right have already taken pops at Trump, I don't think that's an unlikely outcome. All it takes is for one of those whackjobs to have their poor mee-maws healthcare cut back because of 'efficiency' and and that'll be another gun nut who's well up for a lean state, till it affects him. Once the leopards eat his face, he'll be hiring a car, filling it with ammo and MREs and planning a road trip.

Edit: Semi related:

Yeah, I agree. You don't become a figure like Musk and not become a serious target for some second amendment lunatic.

I hope they get some practice in at the shooting range first mind.

That's why Musk is constantly wearing his son on his shoulders in public.

Body shots are potentially treatable, head shots aren't.

Notice how the childs mother has been simping for him on twitter lately? Yeah, can't imagine why.

"Please elon, stop using my child as a bullet proof helmet"
"OK, but you have to say I'm The Best Gamer"

I can genuinely believe that's a conversation that happened. Which led to this

Because I'm sure in the midst of a butter custody battle, that's her priority.

I'm not an expert on this but surely a AR round would go right through his kid and into him?

It's less about ballistics, and more about psychology.

Is someone prepared to brutally murder a four year old to get to Musk?

Musk thinks not. Reality and history suggest...otherwise.

People with what they believe to be a strong enough ideology really don't give a shit about killing kids.

One of the doge boys has been fired for previously making some very racist posts on twitter. But elon did that salute thing how can he suddenly be anti-racist ? We go back to my favourite story of Lemmy leaving Hawkwind. In amongst all the very normal and perfectly acceptable racism, this kid had railed particularly against Indian IT developers. That elon employs quite a lot of and absolutely needs.

Oops.

Anyway, the good news is that elon will be suing himself over it. Remember this ? 😃

They kicked him out over a personality clash that boiled down to different narcotic preferences. Hawkwind were a big acid band and Lemmy was more into speed

As Zed sed. Supposedly kicked out for doing drugs too much, but really because they didn't like the type of drugs he was doing. Their drugs were fine. DOGEboy here was doing the wrong type of racism.

Ah right, gotcha - missed Zed's post.

I thought it might be something like Dean Martin refusing to play JFK's Inauguration because Sammy David Jnr wasn't invited.
