So if anyone sees one up for sale....

Have you considered an M3 Touring?Ascender wrote: Fri Jan 10, 2025 4:26 pm My boy spotted this at the garage today when filling up. I know it makes no sense at all, but I have found myself really wanting one again as a sensible (single digit mpg? surely not) second car for family and dogs.

Go on - what have you been thinking? Must admit, a 550i Touring does appeal...Ascender wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 4:51 pm @Swervin_Mervin Good price for a 550i! I've been going down a rabbit hole of what second car I could have for cheap wagon/4x4 for either a 10-15K deposit or outright purchase...

Be interesting to see the photos when they upload them. I didn’t think BMW had sold a single F11 550i Touring in anything other than MSport trim in the U.K. I suspect it’s actually a saloon, but if it is a Touring in luxury trim it’ll be a bit of a unicorn.Swervin_Mervin wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 5:50 pmGo on - what have you been thinking? I finally managed to beat the recaptcha they had in place and send a message asking for more info and pictures.Jobbo wrote: Sun Jan 26, 2025 8:24 amBe interesting to see the photos when they upload them. Potential Jap import ? They have a liking for high spec large capacity petrols.Jobbo wrote: Sun Jan 26, 2025 8:24 am Be interesting to see the photos when they upload them. That’s just down the road from me. They’ve tried and failed to sell it for £3-4m.Gavster wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 2:54 pm Speaking of 911s, I walk past this house in Bermondsey all the time, it's absolutely iconic. All the details on the house are painted black with a matching black whale-tail 911 outside. It's been like that for decades, the owner is an artist and used to hold events there too.
ETA: Probably worth millions too, the last time a house sold on that road was a mere two-storey terraced house at £875k in 2014.
