This. Many of the other imports are IVA'd. I'd imagine there's jack shit chance of the Cyberwank passing an IVA with it's lethal edgesSimon wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 5:38 pm It's those fucking sharp edges that do it for me. One of those hitting a pedestrian would be fatal. Someone said ' it's the bully XL' of the car world. Fully agree

Youtube thumbnails change these days - it wasn’t when I found the vid.Swervin_Mervin wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:18 pmThe thumbnail on Yianni's vid appears to show the same wrapped vehicle, but who knows.Jobbo wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:09 pm It isn't the same one - Yianni's isn't wrapped (odd when he runs a wrapping business).
Yianni also posted a video two days ago of touring the UK in hisHe can only claim to be the second person in the UK to get his Cybertruck seized at best. Bad for clicks. Hasn't been seized so far as I am aware. Yet...
ETA: just to make it clear - I don't watch Yianni, but I googled to see whether it was his and found the video.

It’s weird really, the US used to have really over the top regulations, resulting in huge diving board impact bumpers, side marker lights, universal size headlight etc, yet have a stupidly backwards brake / tail / indicator setup and seemingly the truck industry is allowed to pretty much self regulate and do whatever they want.
I mean, they had to stick a different grille on bmw e30s because the upper bar on European models covers about 5mm of the top of the lens which has zero influence in useful light output or beam pattern.

And no regular post-sales check like an MOT. The state of some of the things I saw when I was last over there was eye opening

Its amazing how much difference there is from state to state as to what they allow.
Some states want full inspections, some just emissions and some just don't care at all.
I saw a taxi driving round in Fort Lauderdale which had clearly been rolled and had the doors held shut with a ratchet strap.
It wasn't being used as a taxi anymore though (I don't think

Not sure if this was posted, but after 13K in his one, all that's happened to Jerry RigEverything is that the accelerator might get stuck to the floor, its difficult to see out of when it snows, the door hinge might fall off and it can't tow for shit. And bits fall off it.

Not sure if we have a general Tesla thread so I’ll just post this here

In America this- Despite having a legal document that says this car has a clean title, Tesla are saying it’s been in a crash on their systems, and are deactivating all the warranties and supercharging, saying it needs loads replacing to the value of 12k

"Finally, people are waking up at those things are such pieces of shit, and I hope the people know them things are practically microwaves, bro that thing kills you from the amount of radiation from the batteries. Things are such a piece of shit. I don’t understand why motherfuckers were in love with them things."
