Aw man. I used to love watching him on Who's Line is it Anyway. I know he's had his demons but seemed to have made a bit of a comeback with a podcast.

RIP.
Cheers,

Mike.

Yeah, same. He was my favourite comedian on Who’s Line Is It Anyway.

RIP indeed.

He was very funny on WLIIA - until his illness hit at least. I wasn't aware of him doing anything recently.

RIP.

That’s a shame, I didn’t realise he had issues and it’s always weird watching re-runs as suddenly you realise they’ve gotten old.

Sad news, always thought he was great on Whose Line.

Just been reading this, didn't realise he had such a troubled life. Or that he was gay.

Damn, that's sad, I have fond childhood memories of watching Whose Line... with my family on Friday nights when I was a kid.

My wife and I went to see him in Edinburgh in 2019 and while we thoroughly enjoyed it - and are now glad we did - he seemed pretty unwell then - both physically and mentally. He lived a life, certainly. A real character, I shall remember him with great fondness.

OT - this just made me realise Bluesky isn't blocked here at work, unlike Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & Linkedin.
