I heard some great stats today...

Musk invested about $260m in the Trump campaign

Since then, Musk's wealth has grown by about $170bn

That's an ROI of about 65,000%

There have been about 6m seconds since 5th November, so that growth works out to a little over $28,000 per second...

So rich he buys high rank save files from other gamers so he can show off on livestreams 😂
Got busted on a recent livestream because despite having a highly ranked character he didn’t understand the basic game mechanics.
How about not having a sig at all?

He’ll probably buy epic games so they can rig it to favour his character so he can win more at Fortnite and impress little kids or something.

It’s beyond weird, a grown ass man trying to appeal to teenagers. That should get you on a watch list!

He's a big fan of Tommy Robinson, who used to have has a rolodex with more nonces than most regional police departments. Called the EDL member list. So it certainly fits.

But yes, Musk had, IIRC, one of the top 30 character profiles in the world on PoE2, then went to play the game on stream, and ended up failing at basic mechanics - for those who don't play RPGs (like me) it'd be like playing a first person shooter and not knowing how to reload the weapon, it was very basic stuff.

He very obviously paid someone in a third world country to max out his character, then tried to play the game and demonstrated that he doesn't actually know how to play it at that level.

He's fifty fucking three.

He also tried to bring up the fuckwit conspiracy theories he's been spreading about the california wildfires (that incompetence meant that there was no water to fight fires) with a fire dept staffer on a live stream, was politely told "er, no" (there's no water system that can accommodate a fire of this scale which is why they brought in extra tenders etc) and then he shut the stream down because it completely undermined what he's been posting for days now.

The ultimate irony in that livestream clip about the supposed water shortages was where Musk says "correct me if I'm wrong"

As if he would ever stand for being seen publicly as "being wrong"

Apparently behind closed doors he can be reasoned with on some things, but in public (even a meeting) he simply cannot be seen to be wrong

Having just finished reading "Character Limit" about his acquisition of Twitter, he's fired people on the spot for "being right" when it contradicted him/something he'd said, or something he wanted to be true...

He's always been fucking clueless. He tried to move what would become Paypal to Windows from Unix. When they were fighting to combat platform fraud, because the platform with the least fraud was always gonna be the winner when it came to payment processors.

Unsurprisingly, moving between entire operating systems (and apparently he wanted to rewrite in c# or whatever game devs were using because 'they're the smartest people in the industry) absolutely guarantees you're going to have new security problems.

Unsurprisingly, he was fucking sacked. While on his honeymoon. They hated him that much.

Speaking of his idiocy, yes, this does make no sense from a syntax, or logical sense. Is he saying he's had the woke mind virus all along? And with an unqualified rm -rf, he's probably just wiped his entire mind.

I don't expect it took long...there's so much wrong with this.

I genuinely think he got all his computer knowledge from the movie 'Hackers'.

Why didn't he just stick to Spaceships, Electric cars and occasional dabble with Cyborgs, most of us would have remained blissfully ignorant of his shitbaggery.

The meme going around "Poverty exists because you cannot satiate the rich" seems right on point these days.

Doubly ironic for Musk who seems to love the science fiction of Iain M Banks but does want to do anything to bring about the "post scarcity society" from those books.

His knowledge of The Culture goes about as far as "ships have funny ha ha names". Grimes apparently actually read, them and he just hung on to appear cool to nerds.

Surprise is an emotion elicited by unanticipated events. The ability to accurately predict and anticipate events is largely determined by one’s ability to correctly identify, interpret and codify past and current events.

If you are experiencing surprise at what most would consider to be entirely predictable events, it is likely down to an inability to accurately assimilate information from the world around you, or an inability to accurately process that information.
