He’s not interested in legacy, if he was he’d be taking an entirely different route.

He fought an ok fight against Tommy Fury so he’s a below average boxer. At 27 he should be entering his prime. He knows he’ll never get close to fighting for a title so he’s coining it in this way.

Bookies altering odds even further in Jake Paul’s favour now.

Obviously Tyson has said he’s not bothered about his legacy which is tarnished with him being a convicted rapist etc.
Yeah, Tyson goes deep into the darkness when it comes to the concept of legacy

Re the Saudis, they’re cutting through all the nonsense with the promoters (using cash) and finally making the fights that people want to see (the ones with actual boxers). And putting them on at a reasonable hour

The fact Fury and AJ have been dominant in the same 11 year era and not fought each other is pathetic but we may end up seeing it now, albeit a bit late in the day.

I have a totally random Tyson story. He used to go to Sunderland once every few years to buy pigeons. All the best pigeons breeders/racers in that corner of England. So one day Tyson emails my dad’s mate because his birds had won a big race and so he wanted to buy some pigeons from the same lineage.
Anyway, Tyson finally gets there and when you want to catch a pigeon in what is a pretty big loft you kinda have to get them to go in a corner, and then go in with both hands. Then there’s a particular way to grab them from above to not mess up their feathers.
Not with Tyson who would just walk up to them, and grab them out the air with one hand, and not even harm them. The pigeon didn’t even know it was caught until it was caught.
I don’t think you can really appreciate the story until you try to catch a pigeon with one hand though
How about not having a sig at all?

What a sad sad way to put a pin in your career. Just nothing like the sparring footage that’s been going around for the last 3 months.

Very disappointed there was barely a flurry of his old self.

They had to build the narrative that he was still capable of doing it, otherwise people would have just been tuning in to see a terrible mismatch that should never have been signed off.

Mike looked really sharp straight out of the blocks but that tailed off pretty quickly. They both got their victories though; Jake got his win and Mike will get kudos for going the distance.

Jake vs Canelo, if an actual real fight, would be well worth watching

Only watched highlights, and Tyson just looks like he can’t maintain the work rate needed.

Not the result I wanted, but it’s the result I reluctantly expected.
