I did exactly the same with the Instagram link 😄 He’s probably just forgotten he had a link to it.

I’ve got a mate who is of the opinion anything Audi Quattro is mint and will just grip no matter what. Seems that driver shares that opinion and found out the hard way that’s not entirely true

Also why roof bars? I didn’t think they’d be allowed, as of you roll they’ll just break off and become spears

Not a particularly ’good’ video, but I watched the car wow new 1series review, and there wasn’t one single redeeming feature. Absolutely nothing I saw would make me want it any more than my ancient compact. I know I’m a bit of a Luddite, but really, is that the best bmw can do with a small car these days.

Don’t mind the colour I suppose 🤷🏻‍♂️

And having to press a button on the flimsy looking centre console then make a selection on the touchscreen high on the dash to change driving modes just seemed like a ridiculously poor UI decision. Maybe there’s an easier way he hadn’t found.

He doesn’t have one, just thinks they’re amazing, despite their reputation understeer, as proven by the 4wd S3

I think the 1 series is a good looking modern hot hatch.. the M135/40/45i (whatever they will call it) will be annoying supercars and flashing mere mortals out the fast lane in no time! 😁

It’s not awful looking, but the back end is very similar to a 10 year old Peugeot 308, and the big flat square diffuser which obviously isn’t diffusing anything is pretty offensive.

Nice evo vid "in partnership with Alpine Cars UK".

Sounds awful to my ears, but it looks superb on the move. 8-)

A clear demonstration on why a great road car isn't a great track car and vice versa.

They are pushing it hard at several points in the vid. Check the way it moves around at 2min30s - looks so supple and ideally damped. Lovely 8-)

The A110 rides really well and is incredibly capable. My feeling was that it needs to be going too fast to feel fun for normal roads. Probably fine in Scotland.

That "popcorn" exhaust is terrible, no idea why it's a thing on these...but that's easily fixed I'm sure. My big issue with the A110 is the looks, especially the rear, it's got that melted, jelly mould look. A shame, because I really like the ethos of these. Something thats a bit more livable/usable than an Elise, but still keeping it simple and light.

I like the colour.
Poppenfart is shite.
There will be pubic outcry that the video promotes speeding and reckless driving.
Which would provided most enjoyment there, the car or the road?

The new Harris video on the 911 S/T is excellent, but I was a bit like who the fuck is this other dude?

Harris:

Other dude:

I had absolutely no idea who that guy was, and to be honest I nearly stopped watching the video at the beginning, because while I can see that a train geek enjoying his passion can be enjoyed, he was on that verge of being way too boring to hack it... And then they reached the bit where Chris helps. I don't mind admitting I had tears of joy in my eyes watching this - entirely and utterly unexpected. One of the best videos I've seen online in a very long time. 8-)
