Randomness
Re: Randomness
That looks like the same group I think I’ve posted previously doing Thunderstruck:
Re: Randomness
That's them
Apologies, I didn't recall.

It's not the line though, it's the slap on the arse that makes the other dude break....

Released in 2016. Had seen it before, it’s a propper annoying earworm. Had got rid of it and now it’s back. Thanks for thatJobbo wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 5:41 pm Based on the number of views, someone here must have seen this before. But it was new to me:

On a similar note/era, some of you might not have seen the most viewed video on YouTube (15 billion view) which is also a very catchy earworm. Interestingly the 2010s were peak YouTube, the top 30 videos on there were all released before 2020.
Re: Randomness
Surely everyone is aware of Baby Shark? I thought maybe Gangnam Style was up there but it's on just over 5bn views compared to 15bn for Baby Shark. But hey, I'm not bored of Gangnam Style yet.
Of similar agegroup interest to Baby Shark, I saw that Kim Kardashin had been given a necklace with 'Skibidi Toilet' on it by her daughter. Being aware of the Little Big track, Skibidi, I wondered why a child would be so keen on that. Googling Skibidi Toilet sent me down a rabbit hole. My wife tells me that she's aware of primary schools banning kids saying 'Skibidi' because it's so annoying. Impressive viral spread amongst pre-teens.

I had a nervous shudder when they started talking about jurisdiction because one of my neighbour's ongoing arguments is that the court we're in lacks the jurisdiction. He claims we should be in first tier tribunal, and he brings it up at every. single. hearingjamcg wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:00 am https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdRggxVT/
Wonder if the defendant knows @Gavster’s neighbours?

Re: Randomness
Skibidi toilet is a mindblowing how quickly it took off - it's the first major Generation Alpha trend that's made it into popular culture. Also very impressive how the creator/s behind it saw what was happening and accelerated the complexity of the videos. It went from basically being a very short meme to full-on animated warfare episodes without missing a beat. They probably guessed they were just a lucky viral hit with a limited lifespan so ran with it as quickly as possible.Jobbo wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:05 am Surely everyone is aware of Baby Shark? Re: Randomness
I love the whole skibidi universe tbh.

Re: Randomness
O/T for this thread but the first tier tribunal is an alternative property-specific dispute resolution forum; it does not usurp the court's jurisdiction. There can be reasons why someone might choose to use it, and a claim brought in the FTT first is going to mean any court action is postponed, but if you started in court then it's not the wrong jurisdiction - and you can claim costs or other remedies which may not be awarded or even available in the FTT so I'd say it was definitely the right choice.Gavster wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:35 am I had a nervous shudder when they started talking about jurisdiction because one of my neighbour's ongoing arguments is that the court we're in lacks the jurisdiction. That’s part of his argument, that the failure to use the tribunal has resulted in (what he believes to be) unfair costs in resolving the situation. However, my solicitor, and each of the judges who’ve heard the case, reach the same conclusion as yourself. Despite all of that, I can guarantee he’ll bring it up again in FebruaryJobbo wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 10:01 amO/T for this thread but the first tier tribunal is an alternative property-specific dispute resolution forum; it does not usurp the court's jurisdiction. It's random - why didn't they go for 75? - but it's got a ring to it.
