It’s not, by any chance, a 4.0 V8 is it?

It's looks good but odd that they got rid of the trademark Mclaren front lights. Looks a bit GTA supercar now.
How about not having a sig at all?

The W1 uses a new, mid-mounted 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 for a staggering 1258bhp

Wonder how much difference it makes to the 0-200km/h time if you’ve driven 2km first and depleted the battery? 😄

Like that. Always makes me laugh the demonstrations of what the aero can do, I’m sure it needs loads of downforce moving from garage to garage via auction houses whilst in a trailer gaining 4 miles per year

When P1 came out, I was all enthusiastic. Now I'm as excited as learning there will be a new diesel Skoda.
Sure that McLaren is worried out by lack of enthusiasm.

The P1 was and is incredible looking. this, like a lot of super-duper cars has weird gawky proportions. As i’ll never be driving any, i’ll always favour the pretty ones.

I'd say it's prettier than a Senna, but it's not as good looking as a P1. I do think that extending rear wing in lieu of a long-tail is a pretty cool idea, but you know 99% of the times it will be deployed will be for show as opposed to go.

The hypercar market just feels like a game of top trumps - I can't believe anyone who purchases these cars as driving tools ever felt short-changed by the P1's 903bhp on road, or even on track.

The P1 is 10 years old or so - owners probably want to replace theirs with something up to date with CarPlay.

Senna meets Nevera with a side order of meh in the styling dept.

Nearly 1:1 hp\kg is potentially exciting.

They should nick Lamborghini's high revving V8 though.

I always think those "total output" figures which include a small battery which runs flat quickly are utterly misleading. If you have 1250hp where 200bhp is battery, on an autobahn after a few minutes at high speed you're going to have 1050bhp...

Probably similar on track or any form of driving where you have heavy battery deployment out of tight corners.

Anyway - that McLaren is of no interest whatsoever - but that goes for most cars these days. I really liked the look of the Ferrari Dodici Cilindri but it seems even the sound of the legendary F140 V12 has been ruined. Maybe that can be fixed with an exhaust though.

I was checking something P1 related and was reminded that a small minority/some/the majority/ almost all potential W1 owners would only ever explore this aspect of its ability

Posting it as:
1. 918 drivers hand position triggered my steering OCD
2. He redeemed himself with his VICE LIKE grip on the wheel. Whatever feedback he’s potentially able to receive through that wheel rim isn’t going to be noticed at all
