Re: CCA Auction results
Some very cheap, some rather pricey.
Rusty S1 RST went for less than I would have expected, but still about 10x what I would have paid. I think that e36 cabrio is the most I’ve seen a non limited edition e36 go for.

Re: CCA Auction results
£20k for a TME and £25k for a P1 seems 'cheap' relative to what some of the stuff has been selling for recently...? Seems the classic market has been a bit slower year.
Re: CCA Auction results
I'm more surprised that someone paid the thick end of eight grand for a z3 1.9, even if it is low mileage, that's just potty.
Re: CCA Auction results
Holy sheeeite!
Spent £65k on it. Sold for £14k.

That is VERY cheap for a 4S. They seemed to be forever holding on at £20k+.240PP wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:54 am Cheap 996s cabs

Re: CCA Auction results
That is cheap. One owner, sensible mileage - some worn bits of trim like the gear lever and handbrake handle, but easy to replace. That is a good buy for someone, probably even if it had to go Hartech for an engine rebuild.Sundayjumper wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:12 amThat is VERY cheap for a 4S. Man, so many reasonable prices for a bit of fun.
I wish I had more space, project Elise is nearly finished, I need a new money pit.
Not that there's much money left to pour into it...

Manuel 928 S2 did not sell...

Saw that on Jonny's walkaround on youtube. Very tempting.
Re that 996 C4S - that is very cheap! I saw one drive by at the weekend and thought it is the only 996 (GT cars excepted) that I would own. People (including me) dislike cabs however, which I suspect may be what held that one back. They must be pretty unusual in a C4S as well I would have thought - most seem to be coupes.

There’s a reasonable number of convertibles, but they usually seem to be autos. A manual convertible is unusual.
Re: CCA Auction results
This is an interesting one - must be very valuable if it sold for an undisclosed sum:

Undisclosed to avoid embarrassment I would have thought.

How the suffering fuck is a 1990 Escort cabriolet worth 4 times more than a Porsche 944? People are fucking mental.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
Re: CCA Auction results

My mates ex police mini sold for 19k which means breakfast is on him this week.

Re: CCA Auction results
Yep, the evo looked very cheap, you’d struggle to get a standard 5 or 6 for that these days never mind a tme.Matty wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 10:58 pm £20k for a TME and £25k for a P1 seems 'cheap' relative to what some of the stuff has been selling for recently...? Re: CCA Auction results
Oof I'm even more tempted now. Seems that 928 was previously sold by respected specialist Williams Crawford for a few grand more than the 24k they're askingGG. wrote: Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:34 am Manuel 928 S2 did not sell...
