Headroom was less the issues, more the fact my thighs were in mid air above the seat, when sat, not unreasonably, with my feet on the floor.
Left over crest; tightens.

I've only had short runs with my nieces and my ma in the back, but they were too busy enjoying the huge leg room to care, it's like a limo in the back of the 6.

Was talking to my sister-in-law's family over the weekend at a get together. Her brother traded in an early Taycan Turbo S recently for a Cross Turismo. Know what he got for it on trade-in?

£30k!!!

Well he did use it quite a lot so the mileage was probably pretty high. But I heard that the trade don't really want the pre-FL Taycans very much as there were a lot of problems with them?

I think the main reason they're not wanted is the range isn't very good and they're expensive. Don't think they're massively problematic - there are people like that bell end MacMaster on Youtube who go on about them but he's basically just depreciating his own car :lol:

Not the glovebox, googled it because I figured he might be trying to make something seem stupider than it is for effect, but that is genuinely the only way to get in the glovebox

The boot release button is down low, in the numberplate recess - visible right at the start. The same as on my MX5 in fact - hidden so you have to rub your hands along the dirty bodywork to find it. But virtually everyone would be opening it with the button on the fob these days, so not quite as stupid as the glovebox.

I remember Volvo being heavily criticised for the UI in the EX30 when it launched earlier this year, and now the EX90 has been launched without the software even being finished. So they can update them to solve it, but they don't seem to be doing so.

The Evora has an electric latch on the glovebox. Middle left button in this grouping. You need to know where that button is to access it quickly, but I always considered it pretty unnecessary. Bravo to Volvo for comprehensively out-stoopid-ing them however. 8-)

Only by creating this post have I noticed that the heat-seater (everyone calls them that yeah?) buttons don’t illuminate like the others when you put the lights on - you need ignition on too for them. Of course. :roll:

Sorry, I was being rhetorical, the glovebox issue was made very obvious !

Jobbo - it seems less surprising on the MX5, on sports cars you forgive some impracticalities, but on a sensible car it's just awkward.

The MX5 doesn't have a proper handle either - it just has a rubber button the size of your fingertip. So it's definitely intended to be hidden.

I do avoid using my Audi's or the Macan's external boot releases though; they're always a bit grubby. The Macan's is higher up, in the spindle of the rear wiper, so despite being immediately visible you don't notice it due to the stupid location.

I don't remember the last time I used my boot release handle/button - so much so that I'm not even sure where its located or indeed if it even works. I only ever use the button on the remote, or if my hands are full with shopping, the 'virtual pedal' under the rear bumper with my foot.

In some respects I can see why it's not really an issue - you shouldn't be trying to reach into the glovebox whilst the car is moving. Only really an issue therefore for passengers.
