The Merc G500 Technic set has been announced officially today. It looks like a not quite as well-modelled update of the Defender to be honest but still more appealing to me than the P1. Seems to have the Defender wheels with a 2x2 round plate in the centre printed with a Merc badge, though, which is a bit lazy when the price has gone up from the Defender. Doubtless available at substantial discount at some point.

It's a good bump in price too, but yeah it'll get discounted 30% soon enough.

I wonder how much that set would cost ...

The one in the front is the new Lego G Wagon set - £220 delivered.

The one at the back has near life size and has 445,971 bricks...

Yep not quite sure how they’ve managed to make the life size one look less detailed and more blocky than the toy.
How about not having a sig at all?

I don't understand why they have those god awful technic bars for wheel arches, when they were quite happy making moulded ones for the Landy.

The Emirates Team NZ Americas Cup yacht might be more of a local interest thing, but that's getting bought.

That is brilliant. Definitely on the wish list. It doesn’t seem bad value either.

I'm back at home this week with Speed Champions F40, BMW Endurance pair, the Countach Icons model, Jaws and the Emirates NZ Americas Cup yacht all sat waiting for me.

This hobby/affliction* is embarrassing...

It's almost time to start making the UCS AT-AT which has been gathering dust for 9 months or so. Only thing is, my OCD is struggling to have learned there's 40 seats inside it and they only give you 5 mini figures. Can I avoid trying to collect snowtroopers to fill the damn thing?
Cheers,

Mike.

Don't know if any of you use it but I recently discovered the 3D moveable instructions app, absolute game changer for someone like me with limited vision in one eye!

There are a couple of official sets that come with multiples of troopers I think, folk tend to buy a couple of them to farm the minifigs.

You can get knockoff mini figures on Ali Express?? 🤯

I guess that makes sense though!
